6 Healthy Beach Snacks to Pack This Weekend

We’re only halfway through summer, which means there’s still plenty of time to enjoy the beach. All you need for a great beach day is a blanket or towel, an umbrella or tent, one of these awesome beach games, a drink or two, and most importantly - snacks! 

The best beach snacks are tasty, quick to pack, and not too finicky to eat (because, sand). While we love chips as much as the next person, prioritizing healthy and nourishing snacks will help you feel good and energized all day long.

Try one (or all!) of these healthy beach snacks for your next adventure.

 

1. Fresh fruit

Take advantage of summer fruit by loading up your beach wagon with washed berries, peaches, cherries, apricots, or pre-cut watermelon. Fruit isn’t just sweet and easy to eat - it’s a hydrating snack that’s full of fibre and vitamins.

 

2. Protein bites

3. Nuts or Trail Mix

4. Hummus with veggies or pita
